Anthrax: For all Kings album review

So I just got the new Anthrax album, and I listened to the whole thing. It sounds amazing, and I'll explain how in this review.

Album: For all Kings
Band: Anthrax
Genre: Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal
Rating: 9.2/10

For all Kings is such an amazing new album from Anthrax. The production is great because it sounds crystal clear, but it doesn't sound overproduced. The album is mostly Thrash metal, with a traditional/heavy metal song every once in a while. The album is nice and lengthy, and it seems to me like a continuation of the previous album, Worship Music. New lead guitarist Jon Donais sounds pretty legit, and he suits the band better than previous lead guitarist Rob Caggiano. Rhythm guitarist Scott Ian sounds good as always, and singer Joey Belladonna sounds better than ever. Bassist Frank Bello sounds good, as does drummer Charlie Benante. The album's packaging is really great, and the disc cover is really neat with the band's logo etched clearly into the disc. One suggestion I would make would be the track listing arrangement should change. "Breathing Lightning" sounds like it a should be an opener, and "Monster at the end" should be (ironically) at the end, following the band's tradition on some albums. I really enjoy this album though, and that's why I give it a 9.2 out of 10.

Best songs: Breathing Lightning, Monster at the End. Evil Twin, You gotta believe, For all Kings

Worst Songs: Defend Avenge, All of them Thieves
